The Porsche front hood is a lightweight, performance-oriented fiberglass replacement designed for the 968 Turbo S. Featuring functional NACA ducts, this hood offers a significant weight reduction compared to factory components. It comes equipped with thread inserts for the hinges and bonnet lock, ensuring a streamlined mounting process. This component is specifically designed to fit the 968 Turbo S, though it is also compatible with all other 968 and 968 CS models. As these are racing parts intended for performance use, they are supplied unpainted and without TÜV or street-use certification. Please note that due to the nature of fiberglass manufacturing, individual cases may require minor adjustments to the vehicle or the part to ensure a proper fit; this is considered a standard characteristic of racing components rather than a defect. For customers in Switzerland, MFK/MOT certification may be available through authorized partners.
