Front Hybrid Drift Angle Lock Kit

The Wisefab Front Hybrid Drift Angle Lock Kit is engineered for BMW E30 models that have been retrofitted with E36 front suspension components. This advanced kit significantly increases steering lock to over 60 degrees, a critical factor for competitive drifting. It meticulously revises steering geometry to optimize for drifting, ensuring better performance and grip by correcting the inner wheel's angle relative to the outer wheel. The kit offers enhanced camber control even at extreme steering angles, minimizing the negative impact on front grip. It also incorporates steering jacking control to prevent handling issues that can arise with larger steering angles during drifts. Furthermore, the predictable self-alignment control minimizes steering wheel lock-up, ensuring a smoother driving experience. The design allows for the deletion of the front anti-roll bar while maintaining rigidity, which helps achieve maximum usable steering lock. Installation of this kit requires coilovers to ensure adequate clearance. It is recommended to use tires no larger than 235/40 R17. Additionally, wider fenders or fender flares are necessary to accommodate the increased steering angle and tire clearance. The kit includes adjustable coilover upper mounts, a hub add-on kit, lightweight lower control arms, an assembled tie rod kit, and an adjustable lower control arm rear mount kit, along with all necessary mounting hardware.
