Description

The BDS Suspension BDS001801 is a front leaf spring kit engineered to enhance the suspension of lifted 1977-1991 Chevy and GMC trucks and SUVs, offering an 8-inch lift over stock height. These Glide-Ride leaf springs utilize a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design, including an exclusive triple-stage leaf spring construction, to deliver a smooth ride regardless of load. BDS designed these leaf springs to outperform, reducing axle wrap and providing increased flexibility throughout the suspension cycle. Features such as tapered and roll-pointed leafs contribute to enhanced flexibility and an even deflection rate, while bolt-style leaf alignment clamps promote higher articulation by preventing leaf fanning and allowing for greater twist and flex. Anti-friction pads are incorporated to ensure a smooth and quiet operation. It is important to note that bushings are required for installation and must be purchased separately.
