The Subaru 26292AE030 is a genuine, pad-less front left disk brake kit engineered for direct replacement. This brake kit is compatible with several Subaru models, including the 2001-2002 Legacy (2.5L H4, 3.0L H6 engines with various trims), the 2001-2002 Outback (2.5L H4, 3.0L H6 engines with various trims), and the 2002-2003 Impreza and Impreza WRX (2.0L H4 Turbo engines). Installation guidance from customer Q&A suggests that after installing the brake caliper assembly, the brake line should be reconnected using new sealing washers and the banjo bolt and caliper bolts tightened. For the 2001 Subaru Legacy, the first step involves installing the brake pads. Once the wheel, lug nuts, and caliper are installed on a 2002 Subaru Outback, the vehicle should be lowered and the lug nuts tightened. This genuine Subaru part carries a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty provided by Subaru.
