The BMW Genuine Parts 31316750791 is a front left spring strut engineered to match the specifications of the original equipment on select BMW E46 models. This direct replacement strut is intended for 1999-2005 BMW E46 3 Series vehicles, including the 323i, 323Ci, 325i, 325Ci, 328i, 328Ci, 330i, and 330Ci, provided they are equipped with the sport suspension package. It is recommended to replace front struts in pairs to ensure consistent handling and prevent differences in ride height and pressure between the left and right sides. Additional components such as new mounts, dust boots, spring pads, and bump stops are sold separately and will be required for a complete installation. While BMW may list different part numbers for similar applications, the actual specifications for E46 non-M RWD front struts are generally very close, but it is advisable to inspect the original strut for part numbers when replacing only one side to minimize potential discrepancies in length and pressure. This OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) part meets BMW's original design, fitment, and performance requirements and carries a two-year warranty.
