The Kings KHFL-150SSSL is a pair of front lowered coil springs designed to significantly lower your vehicle's ride height, primarily for cosmetic enhancement and improved aesthetics. These springs utilize a progressive rate design, meaning they adapt their stiffness based on driving demands. Under normal conditions, they function with a rate close to the original, prioritizing ride comfort. However, when subjected to increased load or more aggressive driving, the spring rate progressively increases, providing better handling and stability. These 'Super Low' springs are engineered to lower the front of compatible vehicles by approximately 40mm below standard ride height. They are constructed from high-stress X5K spring steel, known for its strength, resistance to sag, and ability to withstand higher operating stresses, ensuring durability and consistent performance. The part number suffix 'SSSL' indicates this super low, front-lowered application. Installation of the KHFL-150SSSL springs requires specific considerations. It is strongly recommended to fit these springs with Monroe GT Sport shortened shock absorbers to ensure proper function and compatibility.
