Front Lowering Control Arms

The DJM Suspension CA3098L-4 are front lowering control arms specifically designed for the 1998-2014 Ford Ranger. This component is crucial for achieving a lowered stance while maintaining proper suspension geometry and alignment. When paired with DJM's 2" drop coil springs (CS3098-2) and upper control arms (CA3098U), these lower control arms enable a 4" front drop for your Ranger. The design prioritizes retaining original factory alignment specifications, correcting ball joint angles on lowered applications, and ensuring sufficient suspension clearance for a smooth and functional ride. This contrasts with other methods that may compromise alignment or ride quality. Each control arm arrives pre-assembled for a simpler installation process. They include new lower ball joints, urethane bushings, and twin tube pivot sleeves, contributing to their overall durability and performance. The use of urethane bushings offers a balance between performance and ride comfort. Replacement parts are available, including the 8695T lower ball joint and the BK3098L lower bushing kit.
