The Dobinsons IMS Monotube Shock Absorber (IMS45-60110) is engineered for demanding off-road conditions where traditional twin-tube shocks may fade. Its monotube design with an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) ensures consistent damping performance, even under heavy loads and high temperatures. This direct, bolt-on replacement is built with heavy-duty materials, including a 3mm thick body and a single-piece lower leg, for maximum strength and durability. The shock features a 50mm or 60mm bore and an enormous oil capacity for superior heat dissipation and precise control. Key advantages of this shock absorber include unrelenting performance with virtually eliminated fade due to its IFP monotube construction. It is built to dominate with a colossal 66mm/2.6" body and a huge bore for superior heat dissipation and damping control. The rugged durability is ensured by a heavy-duty 3mm wall thickness, EDP surface protection, and a single-piece lower leg. Furthermore, its fully rebuildable design makes it a smart investment for a lifetime of service. The shock absorber is tuned with vehicle-specific valving and offers a direct bolt-on design for optimal performance straight out of the box. This shock absorber is specifically designed to fit the Nissan Patrol Y62.
