The Corbin Y-R7-21-F front motorcycle saddle is engineered specifically for the 2021-2025 Yamaha YZF-R7, offering a significant upgrade in rider comfort and support. Corbin's Integrated Molding technology, a patented process, ensures extremely tight tolerances and a chemical bond between the foam and base material, creating a solid foundation for the seat's ergonomics. The Fibertech™ basepan provides a precision fit to the motorcycle's contours, and includes rubber bumpers to protect the paintwork. The saddle's nose area is shaved to allow for easier ground reach, while the shaping provides support for the legs when feet are on the footpegs. The seating platform is neutralized to reduce the tendency to slide towards the tank under braking. Genuine leather is used for all body-contact panels, offering a luxurious and breathable seating surface that will break in over time, conforming to the rider for a personalized fit. This contrasts with vinyl, which Corbin notes does not offer the same breathable qualities or break-in potential. The Y-R7-21-F installs like the stock seat, requiring the transfer of the OEM mounting bracket. The rider seating area measures 14 inches wide by 14 inches long.
