The RK Tunes Front Mount Intakes are designed for the BMW F95 X5M, F96 X6M, M50i, M60i, and XM models. These intakes feature larger diameter tubing than factory, allowing turbos to receive more air. The construction includes 5-ply silicone reinforced with steel wire to prevent it from collapsing.

The RK Tunes Front Mount Intakes are engineered for high-performance BMW models including the F95 X5M, F96 X6M, and Gxx M50i, M60i, and XM, as well as some X7 models. The tubing is constructed from durable 5-ply silicone, reinforced with steel wire to ensure it never collapses under vacuum. Installation requirements vary slightly depending on the specific vehicle. For X5M and X6M models, no bumper removal is necessary. However, M50i and M60i vehicles equipped with active grilles will require bumper removal. For these models, RK Tunes provides an included plug-and-play bracket that allows the active grilles to be retained in place and kept open permanently. This product offers a direct upgrade from the factory intake system, providing a larger diameter to outflow the stock setup and feed the turbos more efficiently. The combination of increased airflow and enhanced sound is a key benefit of this performance intake system.
