The CTS Turbo Direct Fit Intercooler is engineered to replace the factory intercooler on the 2.5T Audi 8V RS3 and 8S TTRS, as well as the 8Y RS3. The OEM intercooler is noted for its underwhelming performance, making this upgrade highly beneficial for vehicles at stock boost levels and especially for tuned cars, promising a significant improvement over factory hardware. This intercooler boasts a core that is 42% larger than the stock unit and has undergone extensive quality control and pressure testing up to 50psi. It features efficient bar and plate construction and cast aluminum end tanks designed using the latest 3D scanning technology for superior flow and a seamless connection to factory hoses. Internal air-directing fins are incorporated to ensure smooth airflow and minimize pressure drop, contributing to increased horsepower and torque. The intercooler is rated for power levels exceeding 700HP. The product comes with one direct-fit intercooler. CTS Turbo offers a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of invoice.
