Overview

It features a bar and plate core that is more than 3.3 times the volume of the factory intercooler core. This larger, less restrictive core ensures better cooling, even at high flow rates. The TurboXS Front Mount Intercooler is designed for a 100% bolt-on installation and can retain the factory fog lights.

With a core volume over 3.3 times larger than the factory unit, this bar and plate intercooler is designed to be less restrictive, leading to superior cooling efficiency under demanding conditions. This significant upgrade is a direct bolt-on, requiring no cutting of the bumper and allowing you to retain your factory fog lights. Installation of the WS-FMIC requires a Short Ram intake, such as the TurboXS WS-INTAKE, and it is compatible with the factory Blow-Off Valve (BOV not included). The kit includes the Front Mount Intercooler Core, Intercooler Piping Kit, Silicone Couplers, Stainless Steel T-bolt Clamps, and a Radiator Overflow Bottle. This intercooler is specifically designed for the 2006-2007 Subaru Impreza WRX and STI AWD models. It is crucial to confirm fitment for your specific vehicle before ordering, as Fitment Industries emphasizes that ordering the wrong product can lead to restocking fees or return shipping costs, unless an error is made on their part or by their sales team.
