Front Mount Intercooler 20"x7"x5.75"

The ARM 335FMIC7 is a front mount intercooler upgrade specifically engineered for N54 and N55 powered E90, E92, and E93 335i models, as well as the E82 135i. At its core, this intercooler utilizes an ULTRA-Dense fin pack with 18 fins per inch, positioning it at the top of its class for core density and cooling performance. This design ensures efficient cooling of charged air without the significant pressure loss associated with some larger intercooler upgrades. The unit measures 20 x 7 x 5.75 inches, offering a total volume of 805 cubic inches. This represents nearly double the volume of the OEM 335i intercooler and a substantial increase over previous 5-inch upgrades. In performance testing, the ARM 7” FMIC demonstrated superior cooling capabilities. During a 3rd gear datalog, intake air temperatures (IATs) increased by only three degrees, a dramatic improvement compared to the OEM intercooler's performance-robbing sixty-degree increase. This translates to approximately 95% better cooling performance than the stock intercooler. The ARM 7” FMIC is the first intercooler upgrade for the E90 335i to feature CAD-designed CNC aluminum connectors. This design allows for the use of either the OEM intercooler hoses for a faster, fully reversible installation, or the ARM FMIC Hose Upgrade for maximum airflow by eliminating potential restrictions from OEM connections. Installation of the ARM 7” FMIC does not require the removal of the front bumper but will necessitate some trimming of the plastic behind the bumper. The product includes the ARM 7" FMIC core and mounting hardware.
