It features a high-efficiency bar-and-plate core and low-turbulence cast end tanks for maximum airflow and minimal lag. This intercooler replaces the restrictive factory unit with a massive 29" x 6" x 5.5" core.

The Custom Performance Engineering (cp-e) ∆Core™ Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) is engineered to deliver cooler charge temperatures and consistent performance for the 2017–2020 Ford Fusion Sport and Lincoln MKZ 3.0T. The cp-e ∆Core™ FMIC boasts an impressive 29" x 6" x 5.5" core, maximizing the available space behind the bumper for optimal cooling capacity. This substantial design results in substantially lower and more consistent charge air temperatures, offering a proven gain of up to 28whp and 25wtq in the upper RPM range by resisting heat soak. cp-e's advanced end tank geometry and computer-optimized internal flow paths ensure balanced airflow distribution and minimal pressure drop, addressing common issues of increased turbo lag and pressure loss found in other large-core intercoolers. Installation is straightforward, featuring CNC-cut mounting brackets and a direct bolt-on fit that requires no drilling, cutting, or permanent vehicle modifications. The intercooler is fully TIG-welded for long-term reliability under high boost conditions. Note: This intercooler is not compatible with vehicles equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
