The Injen FM9200i front mount intercooler is specifically designed for the 2015-2023 Ford Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost, a platform capable of producing significant power with modifications. When performance is increased, the stock intercooler can become a bottleneck, leading to heat soak and reduced efficiency. This Injen intercooler addresses this by utilizing a highly efficient bar-and-plate core. Constructed with cast end tanks and precision CNC-machined aluminum flanges, the FM9200i is built for durability and performance. It offers a substantial increase in core volume over the factory unit. The installation is straightforward, utilizing all factory mounting locations, and is estimated to take approximately one hour.
