Its true front-mount design utilizes the coolest ambient air before it passes through other radiators, significantly reducing intake air temperatures by 74% and leading to potential gains of up to 24 wheel horsepower and 26 wheel torque. The intercooler core itself measures 22 x 9 x 3.25 inches, offering a total volume of 644 cubic inches, which is only 28% larger than the OEM unit but rated for up to 700hp efficiency.
