The Perrin Performance Front Mount Intercooler Core is designed as a replacement for PERRIN Front Mount Intercooler Kits, specifically for 2008-2014 Subaru WRX and STI models. This intercooler measures 28" long x 9.25" tall x 3.5" deep, offering a substantial volume of 906.5 cu-in for optimal cooling efficiency and minimal pressure drop. Constructed with a durable 3/8" bar and plate design, it is built to withstand impacts from rocks and other road debris, offering superior longevity compared to tube and fin designs. The core is finished with a protective powder coat to shield it from the elements. PERRIN's end tanks are engineered to effectively disperse hot charge air across the entire core, minimizing turbulence by eliminating sharp 90-degree corners and promoting a smooth airflow transition. The end tanks also incorporate a mounting tab for securing the support beam. The intercooler support beam is made from robust boxed steel, powder-coated in black, offering greater durability than aluminum alternatives that can be easily damaged. Every PERRIN intercooler undergoes rigorous pressure testing to 50 psi to ensure it is free from leaks, which can otherwise lead to power loss. It is important to confirm that any tune or recalibration is specific to all modifications made to the vehicle. This product is not CARB Legal and cannot be sold in California.
