Front Mount Intercooler Kit

The CTS Turbo direct fit FMIC Kit is engineered as a significant cooling upgrade for BMW 135i (E82/E88) and 335i (E90/E92/E93) models equipped with N54 or N55 3.0L engines. This kit provides substantial cooling benefits compared to the stock intercooler, attributed to its high-density bar-and-plate core and high-flow cast aluminum end tanks. The flared end tanks are designed to prevent boost tube blow-offs and leaks, and the kit includes 4-ply silicone couplers and stainless steel T-bolt clamps for a secure installation. With core dimensions of 20 inches long, 7 inches deep, and 6 inches high, this is among the largest direct-fit intercoolers available. The design prioritizes optimal fitment within the bumper, avoiding the performance compromises often associated with excessively large cores. The intercooler is suitable for both Left-Hand Drive (LHD) and Right-Hand Drive (RHD) models, as well as Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and xDrive all-wheel-drive variants. It is rated to support up to 550 wheel horsepower. A note on installation: On some vehicle models, minor trimming of the plastic intercooler shroud may be required. However, no trimming of the vehicle's bumper is necessary, ensuring the integrity and aesthetics of the exterior are maintained.
