Description

The CXRacing Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) Kit is engineered to replace the restrictive factory side mount intercooler in the 2002-2005 Audi A4 B6 1.8T Turbo models. This kit aims to lower intake temperatures, leading to improved pulling capacity. The kit includes a 2.5" cold pipe, a 2" hot pipe, and a 3" cold intake pipe with a heat shield. It also comes with silicon hoses and stainless steel T-clamps for a complete installation. A built-in mounting bracket on the intercooler further simplifies installation. The intake piping features a sensor flange that is bolt-on for the factory temperature sensor and includes a tube that connects to the factory bypass valves. This setup ensures a true cold air intake, bringing the coolest possible air to the engine for enhanced performance.
