Front Mount Intercooler Kit

The Forge Motorsport Front Mount Intercooler Kit (FMTT225) was developed to provide enhanced cooling efficiency for the Audi TT225, especially as the engine is tuned for increased performance. Forge was the first to release a replacement front-mounted intercooler for this model in 2014 and has since refined the design for optimal cooling with minimal pressure loss. It is engineered using Solid Works CAD and has undergone flow testing. This intercooler serves as a direct replacement for the OEM unit, requiring no cutting of bodywork or bumper modifications for installation. It is supplied with all necessary fitting hardware and instructions, ensuring no additional purchases are needed. The kit includes Forge Silicone hoses, featuring a Flurosilicone inner liner that makes them suitable for modern coolants, O.A.T. coolants, and oil mist, providing durability and longevity. This intercooler kit offers significantly reduced inlet temperatures compared to the OEM unit. When fitted to a stock vehicle, it provides an increase in power of +7 BHP and 8Nm of torque. The intercooler has been tested to 3 bar (43.51 psi) and has dimensions of 550mm x 285mm x 50mm, with a volume of 7.8 Litres and a frontal area of 1568cm2. This product is designed, developed, and manufactured in Great Britain and is covered by a limited lifetime warranty. It is compatible with all Audi TT225 applications, including models with the headlight cleaning option, and fits both RHD and LHD vehicles. However, please note that this intercooler is not a direct fit for the Quattro 240 version.
