The JHM Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) Kit is designed to replace the restrictive stock side-mount intercoolers on Audi B5 S4 and RS4 2.7t V6 30v models, improving cooling efficiency and performance. The core is constructed from 100% aluminum using a bar and plate design, with components machine cut and stamped, then hand welded for robust durability. The kit is rated to handle 600-700 HP and operates within a pressure range of 5-40 PSI, featuring a low pressure drop of 0.2-0.5 psi at 15 psi and an airflow rate of less than 700 CFM. Installation of this FMIC kit requires patience and metal cutting skills, as modifications to the factory bumper support are necessary. While test-fitted on vehicles with stock bumpers, JHM cannot guarantee fitment with aftermarket bumpers, though it should work with most with some adjustments. Fine-tuning and the use of included shims are expected to achieve optimal fitment behind the stock bumper. For best results and to mitigate tight clearances with piping, JHM recommends the kit for cars equipped with upgraded motor mounts, the 034 snub cage, and the JHM DTS mod. This product is specifically designed for the Audi B5 S4 (1997-2002) with the 2.7t V6 30v engine and the Audi B5 RS4 (1999-2001) with the 2.7t V6 30v engine.
