The Airtec (or CTS Turbo) front mount intercooler kit is an upgrade for the MK1 Audi TT225Q. It offers significant cooling improvements over the factory setup with a high-density bar-and-plate core and cast aluminum end tanks. The kit includes "bead rolled" aluminum piping with black powder coating, 4-ply silicone couplers, and stainless steel T-Bolt clamps. This intercooler is rated for up to 450 crank HP.

The CTS Turbo FMIC Kit, designed for the MK1 Audi TT225Q, serves as a substantial upgrade for both stock and modified vehicles. It significantly enhances cooling performance beyond the factory system by utilizing a high-density bar-and-plate intercooler core paired with durable cast aluminum end tanks. To ensure secure connections and prevent leaks or blow-offs under boost, the aluminum piping features "bead rolled" edges. The kit is constructed with black powdercoated aluminum piping, 4-ply silicone couplers, and robust stainless steel T-Bolt clamps. This front mount intercooler is engineered to support up to 450 crank horsepower and is suitable for use with both stock and larger turbocharger applications. The core dimensions are 25.25" x 8" x 3", with an overall end-tank-to-end-tank measurement of 35.5". Installation of this intercooler does not require trimming of the bumper or bumper reinforcement. However, please note that you will not be able to retain the headlight washers with this intercooler kit installed. Minor trimming to the rear of the bumper skin may be necessary for optimal installation.
