Front Mount Intercooler Kit

The Mishimoto Front-Mount Intercooler Kit, designed specifically for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX, aims to significantly enhance cooling efficiency and performance. This kit features a substantial 3.5" thick intercooler core, meticulously designed for maximum cooling capability while minimizing pressure drops that can strain a turbocharger over time. The smooth cast end tanks are CFD tested to ensure optimal airflow in and out of the intercooler, providing the best heat-exchange properties for demanding driving conditions, from track days to drag strip runs. Constructed with four mandrel-bent aluminum pipes, the system promotes superior airflow. The hot-side pipes, with a 2.25" diameter, maintain high airflow velocities for instant response and reduced throttle lag. These pipes include a CNC-machined flange for a leak-free connection to the turbo. The cold-side features 2.5" to 2.75" tubing, maximizing airflow and matching the throttle body diameter. This intercooler kit is rated to support up to 600 wheel horsepower (whp) and includes all necessary hardware, brackets, and accessories for a straightforward installation. It also accommodates both left-hand and right-hand drive models. It also includes a new bracket for the air intake and couplers/clamps for a clean install. Two distinct turbo outlet hoses are provided to work with either stock or aftermarket turbochargers, and the system is compatible with both the stock bypass valve and aftermarket blow-off valves.
