Front Mount Intercooler Kit

The Neuspeed front mount intercooler is a performance-focused replacement for the factory intercooler system found on VW Mk6 GTI and Golf R 2.0T models. By moving the cooling unit from the restricted "middle" position between the A/C condenser and coolant radiator to the front of the bumper, the unit gains direct access to unrestricted airflow, effectively reducing charge temperatures for increased engine efficiency. The kit features a robust bar-and-plate core with aluminum cast end-tanks measuring 23.5" x 6.5" x 3". The package includes billet mounting brackets, a billet hose adapter, durable silicone hoses, constant tension hose clamps, and all required hardware. Please note that for vehicles located outside of North America, trimming of the steel bumper structure is required. The system is CARB exempt under EO# D-236-21. For maximum performance and optimal radiator airflow, an optional factory intercooler delete (FID) kit is available separately. This product is engineered for specific PQ35 chassis applications and is not compatible with other platforms.
