Front Mount Intercooler Kit Silver

The Cobb Front Mount Intercooler Kit replaces the factory intercooler on 2015+ STI vehicles with a significantly larger 24" x 11" x 4" Bar and Plate core for improved cooling performance. The intercooler core is finished in a silver heat-dissipating coating, and the mandrel-bent aluminum piping features a durable wrinkle black powder coat. This kit includes an adapter plate for easy installation of the factory bypass valve, the COBB XLE BPV, or other bypass valves with factory-like fitment. The cold-side piping incorporates an integrated bung for an Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor, facilitating a straightforward Speed Density conversion. Unique features include integrated mounting provisions for a factory tow hook or a license plate relocation bracket, and no cutting to the bumper cover is required for installation. The factory side crash supports are retained. Minor trimming of the vehicle's under-tray is necessary for installation. This intercooler kit includes a COBB Coolant Overflow tank and a Washer Fluid filler neck. It has achieved California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Order numbers D-660-22, D-660-57, D-660-219, and D-660-259, making it legal for sale and use on emissions-controlled vehicles in all 50 states when installed according to the manufacturer's application guide.
