The Perrin Front Mount Intercooler Kit is engineered to maximize the performance of your turbocharged 2022+ Subaru WRX by reducing intake air temperatures and increasing horsepower. Its robust 3/8” bar and plate intercooler core, measuring 28 inches long, 9.25 inches tall, and 3.5 inches deep, offers a substantial volume of 906.5 cu-in., providing superior cooling and minimal pressure drop compared to tube and fin designs. This construction is also more resistant to damage from road debris. The kit includes a CNC-machined throttle body adapter for simplified boost tube connections. The lightweight aluminum boost tubes feature smooth routing with diameters up to 2.75 inches, ensuring ample flow capacity for high horsepower applications. Oversized, beaded tube ends prevent couplers from slipping off under high boost, and the tubes themselves are powder-coated for durability, available in texture powder coated black and red finishes. PERRIN ensures the reliability of each intercooler by pressure testing every unit to 50 psi, guaranteeing no leaks that could lead to power loss. The kit also comes with a PERRIN logo stencil for custom application on the intercooler face, allowing for a personalized touch. An appropriate intake system, such as the PERRIN Cold Air Intake or a similar aftermarket unit, is required for installation. The kit is supplied with the intercooler and piping; other necessary components must be sourced separately.
