The CXRacing Front Mount Intercooler Pipe Tube Kit is engineered to significantly enhance the performance of your 99-05 VW Jetta 1.8T Turbo. Developed from the ground up, this kit directly replaces the factory side-mount intercooler, which is known for its restrictive airflow. By upgrading to this front-mount system, you can expect substantially lower intake air temperatures, leading to improved engine efficiency and increased pulling capacity. This kit utilizes a robust 3.5-inch thick bar and plate intercooler core, measuring 22 inches by 8 inches, with overall dimensions of 29 inches by 8 inches. The piping is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum for smooth airflow and comes complete with silicon hoses and stainless steel T-bolt clamps. Specially designed brackets are included to securely mount both the pipes and the intercooler, ensuring a stable and reliable installation. For other Jetta models with a higher bumper lip, modification or removal of the bumper bar may be necessary for proper fitment.
