Front-Mount Intercooler w/ 3.8" Garrett Core

The STM 1000HP Intercooler is an in-house manufactured upgrade for the 2017+ Audi RS3, designed to improve cooling performance. It utilizes a robust 1000 HP-rated Garrett core, coupled with tig-welded aluminum end tanks and bead-rolled outlets for efficient airflow and durability. With a 3.8" core thickness and a pressure test limit of 50 psi, this intercooler is built to handle significant power demands. For non-USDM models, the optional US Crash Bar is recommended to ensure fitment without cutting; otherwise, modifications to stock crash bars may be necessary. The included billet spacer is specifically for vehicles equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) to mount the sensor, as the stock bracket is incompatible with the larger intercooler. Testing on a stock 2018 RS3 demonstrated notable performance improvements, including an approximate 18 HP and similar TQ gains between 4000-6800 RPM. These gains translated to a quicker quarter-mile time, shaving off about 1/10 of a second, and an increase of 2.8 MPH. Furthermore, a 40-130 roll showed a significant improvement of 1.74 seconds.
