Front Outer Tie Rods

The Voodoo13 Front Outer Tie Rods are engineered to address suspension geometry issues common in lowered vehicles, such as excessive bump steer and negatively affected roll centers. Bump steer occurs when the steering wheel moves without driver input due to imperfect suspension geometry, often exacerbated by a lowered stance. These adjustable tie rods allow for fine-tuning of suspension geometry with included spacers to correct bump steer and reposition the roll center closer to its OEM position, which also helps reduce stress on steering system ball joints. Constructed for durability and performance, these tie rods feature CNC-machined shanks made from heat-treated 17-4 H900 stainless steel, providing superior tensile strength and corrosion resistance. The hex components are crafted from 2024 aluminum, a lightweight yet strong material that is 50% stronger than 6061-T6 aluminum. Spacers are machined from aerospace-grade aluminum, and the unit incorporates QA1 PCYM chromoly steel heims with 64° of misalignment angle to prevent binding. The tie rods are adjustable, offering a length that is 35mm longer than OEM at its shortest setting and 54mm longer at its maximum setting, with up to 25mm of bump steer adjustment available in 5mm increments. Installation of all Voodoo13 parts is recommended to be completed by a professional experienced in suspension tuning. The product is designed to fit 1989-1994 Nissan 240SX models.
