Description

The BMW Performance front transverse element front panel support is an original structural component from the Bumpers & Reinforcements group, specifically designed for BMW 5 Series (E60, E61) and 6 Series (E63, E64) models. It functions as a load-bearing element in the front of the car, connecting key mounting points within the front apron to ensure structural rigidity and proper support for other front-end components like the bumper, hood, and headlights. This genuine OE part, with manufacturer code 7046555, is manufactured to BMW's factory standards, ensuring correct mounting points and compatibility with original body mounts. It is an ideal solution for restoring the vehicle's original geometry and maintaining correct panel gaps, which is crucial for both aesthetics and the functional integrity of safety and cooling systems. As a used part, it offers a cost-effective way to maintain the factory structure of your BMW while optimizing repair expenses. Before installation, it is recommended to inspect the surface condition and mounting points to ensure proper fitment and integration with other front-end reinforcements. This front panel support is primarily used for repairs following front-end collisions, replacing damaged reinforcements, or restoring the factory alignment of bumper and body panels. It is essential for comprehensive rebuilding of the vehicle's front end after significant damage, helping to maintain correct body lines for safety and resale value.
