The BMW Genuine Parts 31311091270 is an OEM front right spring strut designed to directly replace the original component on select BMW E36 models. It meets all of BMW's original design, fitment, and performance standards and has received TUV approval, ensuring it adheres to stringent quality and safety regulations. This strut is specifically intended for the factory sport suspension and is compatible with factory sport springs. It is not suitable for use with aftermarket lowering springs. For optimal performance and safety, front struts should always be replaced in pairs; therefore, it is recommended to order both the left and right struts. Additional components such as new mounts, dust boots, spring pads, and bump stops are sold separately and are required for a complete installation. This part serves as a direct replacement for the original BMW part number 31311091270. It is backed by a two-year warranty. The fitment covers various BMW 3 Series E36 models from 1992-1999, including the 318i (M42 and M44 engines), 318ic, 318is, 323ic, 323is, 325i, 325ic, 325is, 328i, 328ic, and 328is.
