The Kartboy front shifter bushing is the original and gold standard replacement for stock shifter mount bushings in all Subaru vehicles equipped with a 5-speed transmission. This includes models like the Impreza RS, WRX, Outback Sport, Legacy, and Forester. While it does not alter the shifting mechanism's geometry, it significantly reduces excessive play, leading to a more solid and precise gearchange feel. Constructed from durable black, 95A durometer polyurethane, this bushing is manufactured in the USA. Installation is straightforward, typically taking about 30 minutes, but requires jacking the vehicle and mandatory use of jackstands.
