The Aldan American Road Comp Series Suspension Package is engineered to upgrade the front suspension of your 1970-1981 Camaro or Firebird to coilovers and the rear suspension to adjustable shock absorbers. This system is setup for road racing and autocross, offering enhanced tunability and a wide range of ride height adjustment. The front coilovers provide a lowering of 0.0-2.0 inches, while the rear adjustable shocks are designed to work with factory rear shock mounts for optimized performance. This package includes single adjustable front coilovers and rear shocks, with options for spring rates of 450 lbs./in. for small block engines or 550 lbs./in. for big block engines. The rear adjustable shocks offer superior ride quality compared to conventional shock absorbers. All Aldan American coilovers and shocks are factory serviceable and fully rebuildable, ensuring longevity and sustained performance. This kit is specifically designed for Big Block V8 Camaros from 1970-1981 and also fits 1970-1981 Pontiac Firebirds. Compatibility includes various trims such as Base, Berlinetta, LT, LT Rally Sport, Rally Sport, RS, Sport, SS, and Z28 models within the specified year range. It works with factory or aftermarket control arms.
