Front Shock Absorber

The BDS Suspension BDS85754 is a front shock engineered to upgrade the performance of 2014-2023 Ram 2500 and 2013-2023 Ram 3500 4WD trucks. This NX2 Nitro Series shock utilizes a pressurized nitrogen-charged, twin-tube design combined with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving to provide responsive dampening across various terrains, both on and off-road. Constructed with a 2-inch body, the BDS85754 features a large 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston and self-lubricating seals. The 14mm hardened chrome shaft is designed to resist damage from rock chips and corrosion, ensuring longevity. Polyurethane bushings and metal sleeves are included to facilitate a straightforward installation process, making it compatible with all current BDS lift kits. The shock is finished in a durable metallic silver paint and is specifically designed to work with an 8-inch lift kit. Key specifications include a compressed length of 17.24 inches, an extended length of 29.43 inches, and a travel length of 12.19 inches. The upper mount type is specified as 's50' and the lower mount type as 'Eyelet (EB2)'. This shock is gas-charged but not adjustable in terms of damping or overall setting.
