The Koni Sport 8641-1500SPORT is a front strut insert engineered for performance-oriented vehicles, specifically designed to complement lowering springs. This 'Yellow' sport shock absorber offers externally adjustable valving, providing a full 100% adjustment range, which is up to three times more than many competing adjustable shocks. This allows drivers to fine-tune their suspension for spirited driving or a more comfortable ride as needed. These Koni Sport inserts are tailored for specific applications, ensuring a direct bolt-on installation without requiring extensive modifications. They are an excellent choice for multi-use vehicles that see a combination of street driving and track use. The low-pressure gas strut insert technology contributes to consistent performance and responsiveness, making them the best option for most performance lowering springs. The Koni Sport 8641-1500SPORT is compatible with various models of the Chevrolet Cobalt from 2005 to 2010 and the Pontiac G5 from 2007 to 2009, including Base, LS, LT, LTZ, SS, and GT trims. Some Pontiac G5 applications, specifically the SE and GT trims, require the reuse of the OE strut housing.
