Description

The Dobinsons GS59-228 is a front strut engineered to significantly upgrade vehicle handling and control compared to standard shocks. Designed, developed, and tested in Australia, these shocks are built to withstand extreme conditions, from the heat of the outback to subzero temperatures. This twin-tube, nitrogen gas-charged strut utilizes larger bodies and bores to reduce oil aeration and prevent shock fade, ensuring consistent performance. It also incorporates "Teflon Piston Rings" to reduce internal friction, a "Double Chromed 18mm Rod" for increased strength and corrosion resistance, and "Natural Rubber Bushings" for improved comfort and noise reduction. Designed as a "Direct Bolt-In OE Replacement," the GS59-228 allows for straightforward installation without requiring modifications. It is compatible with original coils or aftermarket options and is sold in pairs. The inclusion of a steel dust cover adds protection against debris and extends the shock absorber's lifespan.
