Front Strut Brace

The Perrin Performance PSP-SUS-050 is a front strut brace designed to enhance chassis rigidity and improve steering precision. Subaru's MacPherson strut design allows for inherent flex in the strut towers, which can affect static camber, toe, and caster settings during performance driving, leading to more pronounced and unpredictable steering response and body roll. The PERRIN strut brace addresses this by transferring the load of each strut tower through tension and compression to the opposing tower, sharing the load and tying the towers together. This construction improves chassis rigidity, sharpens steering under high load, and reduces understeer, potentially decreasing tire wear and metal fatigue in the strut tower area.
