Overview

It addresses the lack of OE camber adjustment, which can compromise front-end grip and turn-in performance. This strut mount set adds approximately 1.0 degree of negative camber with minimal NVH impact.
Show original supplier description
The SuperPro fixed offset upper strut mount set, part number TRC5000, is engineered to enhance the performance of VW/Audi MQB platform vehicles. This kit directly addresses the limitation of OE camber adjustment, which can lead to reduced front-end grip and compromised turn-in characteristics. By installing this set, you can achieve approximately 1.0 degree of additional negative camber, significantly improving cornering grip, turn-in response, and overall steering precision with minimal impact on Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH). For optimal performance, service life, and NVH mitigation, it is crucial to replace the OEM radial bearings with new components during installation. Additionally, this kit is exclusively compatible with OEM springs or springs that maintain the OEM diameter and design. It is not compatible with most coil-overs or any aftermarket struts that alter the shaft diameter. SuperPro is a leading aftermarket suspension bushing manufacturer with over 40 years of experience. These bushings are known to correct or maintain steering geometry, improve handling, enhance safety, reduce tire wear, and boost fuel efficiency.
