The Dobinsons GS29-726 is a pair of front struts engineered to significantly enhance vehicle handling and control, offering a substantial upgrade over standard shocks. Designed, developed, and tested in Australia, these shocks are built to withstand extreme conditions, from arid outback heat to freezing Nordic winters. Their robust construction, featuring larger bodies and bores, effectively minimizes shock fade, ensuring consistent performance even under heavy loads or demanding off-road terrains. They are equipped with Japanese NOK multi-lip seals to provide superior leak protection and extend service life, along with Teflon piston rings that reduce internal friction for improved responsiveness and durability. The double chromed 18mm rod offers increased strength and resistance to wear and corrosion, while natural rubber bushings contribute to improved ride comfort and noise reduction. A steel dust cover is integrated to protect the rod from debris, further extending the lifespan of the shock absorber. These struts are designed as a direct bolt-in OE replacement, facilitating straightforward installation without the need for modifications. The extended length is 517mm, and the compressed length is 358mm. These are specifically designed for Jeep Grand Cherokee WK models from 2005-2010 and Commander models from 2006-2010.
