Front Suspension Drop Knuckle Kit

The Wisefab Toyota GT86 Front Suspension Drop Knuckle Kit is engineered to enhance the performance of enthusiast-driven vehicles like the GT86, BRZ, and FR-S, especially when modified for track use with a lowered ride height. This comprehensive kit features aircraft-grade aluminum construction for reduced weight and increased strength. The kit includes CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminum knuckles and arms with anodized finishes, CrMo rod ends and sphericals replacing traditional rubber bushings, and camber plates with separate camber/caster adjustment. This setup restores the roll center and camber gain to optimal ranges, providing better roll stiffness, handling, and grip. The design offers approximately 45mm of A-arm joint drop compared to the original knuckle. Key features include a 7 kg weight reduction over original components, a slightly quicker steering ratio, and an initial caster setting of 6 degrees. The A-arm rod ends are parallel to allow for track adjustments, accommodating variations in fender clearance, rim width, and offset. A small chassis cut is necessary to fit the Wisefab arm. The kit is designed to work with the standard GT86 front wheel bearing and 5x100 hub, with an option to upgrade to Subaru STI (GR) bearings and 5x114.3 hubs using a conversion kit. Included in the kit are pre-set lower control arms, knuckles with hardware, assembled tie rods, coilover upper mounts, lock limiter washers, and an installation guide. This kit requires coilovers and a minimum 17" rim size. Recommended backspacing is 135-140mm. The original wheel speed sensor can be utilized.
