The BMW Genuine Parts 31351127263 is a front sway bar link bracket, also known as a stabilizer swing support bracket, crucial for connecting the front control arm to the sway bar link. This component is essential for the proper function of the suspension system, ensuring stability and control. This bracket is designed for specific BMW E30, E36, and Z3 models. For the E36 3 Series, it is compatible with models produced from June 1992 onwards, including all non-M E36 models from 1993-1999 (318i, 318is, 318ti, 323is, 325i, 325is, 328i, 328is). For the E30, it fits all non-M models such as the 318i, 318is, 325, 325e, 325es, 325i, 325is, 325ic, and 325ix. On the Z3 Roadster and Coupe (non-M models), it fits 1.9L, 2.3L, 2.5L, 2.8L, and 3.0L engines from 1996-2002. It is recommended to replace these brackets in pairs, as two are used per car, to ensure consistent performance and mounting integrity. Replacing these alongside sway bar end links is a common practice during suspension overhauls to refresh hardware and mounting points.
