The BDS Suspension BDS121631 is a front sway bar link kit engineered to enhance the handling dynamics of lifted 1988-1998 Chevy and GMC 1500 trucks and SUVs. Specifically designed for vehicles equipped with a factory rear sway bar and intended for use with a 6-inch lift, this kit aims to correct the sway bar's operating angle. By optimizing this angle, the BDS kit works to improve overall vehicle handling and significantly reduce body roll, especially during cornering. Constructed for longevity and performance, the BDS heavy-duty replacement sway bar links feature high-strength steel with a clear zinc finish for corrosion resistance. The kit includes polyurethane hourglass bushings and sleeves, which are crucial for ensuring long bushing life and maintaining quiet operation by absorbing vibrations. This focus on durable materials and thoughtful design makes the BDS121631 a robust upgrade for lifted trucks. Installation of the BDS121631 is straightforward, with an estimated time of just 1 hour for the front suspension components. The kit comes complete with all necessary bushings, making it a convenient solution for owners looking to refine their lifted truck's performance. Its compatibility extends beyond BDS lift kits, fitting with most other aftermarket lift kits on the market, offering broad applicability for enthusiasts.
