The SuspensionMAXX SMX-122480 is a heavy-duty sway bar end link kit engineered for lifted 4WD Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. This kit replaces the wear-prone stock ball socket design with a robust thermoplastic/urethane bushing system that provides superior performance and durability. The links measure 8 inches center-to-center and are designed as a direct replacement for OE sway bar end links, requiring no drilling for installation. Constructed with 4140 alloy steel eyelets and drawn-over-mandrel steel tubing, these links are built to withstand demanding use. They are electroplated with yellow zinc dichromate for corrosion resistance and use grade 8 bolts for enhanced strength. The maintenance-free design won't squeak or rattle and offers a cost-effective solution compared to frequent replacement of stock components. These links are 100% American-made and covered by the MAXXLinks Limited Warranty. This specific part, SMX-122480, is intended for Ram 2500 and 3500 models lifted 4 inches or more. The manufacturer notes that for 2500 models produced after the 2014 model year and 3500 models produced after 2013.5, a different part number (SMX-1315) may be required due to chassis changes. Installation is estimated to take 45 minutes to an hour and is supported by SuspensionMAXX customer service.
