Front Top Strut Mount Kit

The K-MAC 762116-3L is a pair of front top strut mounts designed for full race applications, offering precise camber and caster adjustability. These mounts replace existing strut top mounts without requiring modifications and reinforce the strut towers. Constructed from 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum, these strut mounts feature heavy-duty, self-aligning spherical bearings with a 30mm ID, noted as the largest in the industry. Unlike Stage 2 kits, the Stage 3 version eliminates elastomer for tauter response times and more effective shock control, making it unsuitable for applications where ride harshness and durability are primary concerns. A unique K-MAC design incorporates separate radial thrust bearings to manage steering loads, which also resolves issues like spring drag, noise, and binding. These massive, fully sealed 85mm (3 3/8″) diameter bearings contribute to reduced steering effort. The kit also includes OEM diameter alloy top spring seats, with separate seats provided for various coil-over sizes (60-70mm I.D.). Featuring K-MAC's patented design, these strut mounts offer a large and quick adjustment range for both camber and caster, allowing for street/race settings to be changed in approximately 30 seconds by loosening the top mount nuts. This fast adjustment can be made accurately under load, directly on an alignment rack. This system supersedes older 'slot' adjustment methods, which are more time-consuming and often require strut removal. The design aims to correct costly premature tire wear and steering pull resulting from various conditions like altered ride height, load carrying, or fitting wider tires.
