It is designed for the front transmission (nose cone) location and utilizes a 3-bolt (late style) mounting configuration. Standard 3-bolt mounting hardware is required but not included. The mount is compatible with Volkswagen Beetle (Standard) models from 1973-1977, Volkswagen Super Beetle models from 1973-1979, and Volkswagen Karmann Ghia models from 1973-1974. It specifically fits vehicles equipped with the late-style 3-bolt nose cone mounting bracket only.
