Description

The Dobinsons GS53-202 is a pair of heavy-duty front twin-tube nitrogen-charged gas struts, engineered to provide superior performance and durability for your Ssangyong Rexton 2006-on. These struts are designed with thicker walls and offer longer travel than stock components, ensuring robust performance both on and off the road. Natural rubber bushings are incorporated to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness, contributing to a more comfortable ride. These struts can be used with either stock coil springs or Dobinsons Lifted Coils, offering flexibility in suspension setups. Dobinsons Spring & Suspension designs and tests their 4x4 shock absorbers and coil springs in Australia, ensuring they can withstand extreme conditions worldwide, from the Australian outback to subzero temperatures. Installation requires careful attention to detail. Front struts must be seated completely down in the knuckle, ensuring the welded brake line bracket is firmly seated against the knuckle. Failure to do so could lead to strut deflection, damage, or failure. Additionally, note that replacement one-time use OEM parts from the dealer and specialized tools will be required for correct installation. It is recommended to consult a professional installer before proceeding.
