Description

The Dobinsons GS59-684 is a pair of front twin-tube shock absorbers engineered for Toyota Land Cruiser 80 series vehicles manufactured between 1990 and 1997, specifically intended for applications with a 6-7 inch lift. These shocks utilize a low-pressure nitrogen gas charge to minimize oil aeration and combat shock fade, providing consistent performance. They feature superior design with thicker walls and longer travel compared to standard shocks. Internal components include Japanese NOK Multi-Lip seals, Fuchs German shock absorber oil, and Teflon piston rings, paired with natural rubber bushings to reduce noise and vibration. The double chrome-hardened rods are protected by a metal shock boot, ensuring durability. They are built to handle the additional weight and harsh conditions encountered by 4x4 owners, featuring larger bodies, bores, and improved valving for dramatically enhanced vehicle handling and control.
