Description

The Dobinsons GS45-912 front twin-tube shock absorbers are engineered to provide a significant increase in performance over standard shocks, specifically designed for Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series and Lexus LX450 models manufactured between 1990 and 1997, intended for vehicles with a 4-5 inch lift. These shocks feature a superior twin-tube design with thicker walls and longer travel, utilizing nitrogen gas charging to reduce oil aeration and prevent shock fade. Key internal and external components are sourced worldwide for quality, including Japanese NOK Multi-Lip seals, Fuchs German shock absorber oil, and natural rubber bushings for reduced noise and vibration. The piston rings are made of Teflon, rods are double chrome hardened, and a metal shock boot protects the rod from damage. Developed and tested in Australia by Dobinsons' in-house engineers, these shocks are built to withstand harsh conditions, from extreme heat to sub-zero temperatures. They offer improved vehicle handling and control, especially under load or demanding off-road use, where original shocks often struggle. The larger bodies, bores, and enhanced valving performance contribute to a more stable and responsive ride. Fitment is specifically for Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series and Lexus LX450 from 1990-1997.
