The Total Chaos bed stiffener is engineered to reinforce the bed sides of your 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma, specifically near the tailgate. This reinforcement aims to prevent flex and potential cracking in the rear sheet metal channels, which can occur over time, especially with composite or plastic beds. Constructed from durable 3/16 mild steel and laser-cut for precision, these bed stiffeners are designed to bolt on using existing factory holes. However, it is important to note that drilling is required for installation. The kit includes the necessary hardware, such as a 7/16” bolt and supplied washer, to attach the stiffener to the top of the bed and utilize factory washers.
