The IL Motorsport front upper strut brace is engineered for the Mazda MX-5 NA, NB, and NBFL generations, covering model years 1989 through 2005. This performance-oriented component is crafted from aluminum for a balance of strength and light weight. This strut brace offers significant improvements to the vehicle's handling dynamics. By reinforcing the front strut towers, it enhances cornering stability, minimizes lateral body roll, and increases overall road adhesion. Additionally, the integrated brake master cylinder limiter contributes to a more responsive braking feel by reducing flex in the brake system under load. Installation of this brace may require specific considerations. For NA models equipped with the larger windshield washer fluid reservoir, a swap to a smaller 2.2L version (part number NA0-0941) is necessary. Furthermore, the brake master cylinder limiter can only be installed on vehicles where the distance between the firewall and the brake master cylinder is between 210-230mm.
